Fernando Gayesky was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, moving to New York in the mid 90s to study Film Production and Cinematography at the New School/Parsons School of Design. Soon after, he joined the International Cinematographers Guild, Local 600, and worked his way up the camera department with directors and DPs such as Michel Gondry, Ang Lee, John Cameron Mitchell, Eric Gautier, Ellen Kuras and others. He started his cinematographer days shooting documentaries in Trinidad and Tobago, Malaysia, Panama, India and many more beautiful locations.
Nowadays Fernando is based between Barcelona and New York, using the unique sensibility gained in a life of working and traveling to shoot commercials and music videos for brands like Nike, Dom Perignon, Lacoste, Vodafone, etc. with directors Matthew Frost, Andy Muschietti, Kinopravda, Christopher Anderson and Billy Kidd, amongst others.
