About

Fernando Gayesky was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and moved to New York to study Film Production and Cinematography at the New School/Parsons School of Design. Soon after, he joined the International Cinematographers Guild, Local 600, and worked in the camera department with directors such as Michel Gondry, Ang Lee, John Cameron Mitchell, and others. He began working as an international cinematographer shooting short films, music videos and documentaries in Europe, Argentina, Mexico, Trinidad and Tobago, Malaysia, Panama, India and many more beautiful locations. 

Nowadays Fernando is a Director of Photography based between Barcelona and New York, with a US passport and European residence. Fluent in English and Spanish as well as proficient in German and Italian, he draws inspiration from the unique global sensibility gained in a life of working and traveling when shooting feature films, like the recent Amazon Prime Bollywood hit “Tiku Weds Sheru” (2023), as well as commercials, branded content, fashion films and music videos for brands like Nike, Dom Perignon, Lacoste, Vodafone, etc. with directors Matthew Frost, Andy Muschietti, Kinopravda, Christopher Anderson, Julio Del Alamo, Rick Guest and Billy Kidd, amongst others.
